We were encouraged when an industry giant, Starbucks, proved we were right by following suit and taking on one of our unique selling propositions.
Starbucks Frappuccino will be looking a lot more like us in the near future according to The Wall Street Journal,
“the customized frappuccino is set to make its debut in early May in the U.S. and Canada. Starbucks is hoping its sales will help offset the seasonal slowing of hot-coffee sales during summer. Any boost in frappuccino orders also would strengthen a weak portion of the Starbucks day—the afternoon, when iced drinks are most popular,” the company said.
“Calling it the “however-you-want-it frappuccino,” Starbucks will allow customers to order the drink with soy milk instead of dairy, decaffeinated instead of caffeinated coffee, and far fewer calories. The calorie count for a grande caramel light frappuccino, for instance, could drop 25% to 120 calories if ordered with nonfat milk, light syrup and no whipped cream.”

The Perfect Mocha Frappe
Do you offer a delicious iced blended mocha beverage? If not, you should! This is a staple beverage at coffee houses and espresso stands, and a drink that you will want to master in order to keep you blended drink costumers coming back for more.
There are many ways to make a mocha frappe, and while the coffee you use makes a big difference, so does your frappe base. You NEED that smooth and sweet frappe flavor, without that gross chalky taste and artificial flavor found in many frappes and smoothie bases! -
Frozen X-Plosion is YOUR solution – it blends perfectly with your espresso shots.
If you are looking to offer a delicious Mocha Frappe, we suggest:
Step #1 – 1/3 cup (3 oz) of Frozen X-Plosion Frappe and smoothie base
Step #2 – Add 2 shots of Espresso and 4 ounces of water
(6 oz of strong coffee may substitute)
- 4 coffee beans (for great taste and texture!)
- 2 ounces of Chocolate syrup
Step #3 – Add ice (16 oz) and blend
Step #4 – Top with whip cream – and serve

Frozen X-Plosion is a favorite frappe and smoothie base around the world. One of Frozen X-Plosion’s winning factors is that it gives full control to those using it. Whether you are a barista, restaurant owner, smoothie stand operator, or just enjoying a delicious smoothie from home; YOU decide what you will blend with Frozen X-Plosion. It is always interesting and exciting to see what our customers are creating with our smoothie base.
Recently, we’ve done quite a bit of development in the Indonesian market and this last week we worked with them to find something they really like! It may not be our favorite, but we recommend you try it.
Frozen X-Plosion, avocados, and chocolote have created a delicious frappe, something new for the palate.
